HERLAN GÓMEZ, ADOR TORRES MAKE WEIGHT FOR TITLE BATTLES IN HIGHLAND SHOW IN THAILAND

PhilBoxing.com

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Promising Filipino warriors bantamweight Herlan Gomez and welterweight Ador Torres have successfully made weight ahead of their respective regional title fights in the coming Highland Boxing Show at the luxurious Spaceplus Bangkok Night Club in Bangkok Thailand tomorrow, and philboxing.com, the Filipino boxing portal will be there.

The rising-star Herlan Gomez (10-1, 7 KO's) of Bacolod, Negros Occidental, is featured in one of the show's main fights, taking on more-experienced 40-fight veteran former IBF Asia Champ Komgrich Nantapech of Udon Thani, Thailand.

Both fighters easily made weight during the official weigh-in ceremony today, looking fit and ready for action.

Fresh from his thrilling round one KO win one month ago in Dubai, U.A.E., the pogi Herlan, 24, pushes forward his boxing career with another important mission.

Herlan Gomez and Komgrich Nantapech face off during Wednesday's weighin in Bangkok.

The young Visayan warrior, born in Saravia, has already started to getting noticed in the Land of legendary warrior LapuLapu, gaining fans who root for him as he makes his way into the future with faith.

Deeply religious and a committed Christian, Herlan Gomez has all the tools to succeed in boxing, and that's why his battle for the WBC Asia Silver Bantamweight Belt is so important.

A win might get Herlan Gomez into the WBC's top 40 bantamweights in the Planet.

Boxing fans outside of Thailand will be able to watch the live action for free from the official live stream of the broadcasting television station MVTV.

At the same time, the show will be streamed live from the YouTube channel and the Facebook page of the promotion company Highland Boxing.

ADOR TORRES IN ACTION TOO!

A strong 28-year-old Bicolano southpaw will be swimming in rough waters too. Let's make no mistake about it.

However, Ador Torres (9-4-1, 6 KO's), looked impressive during the official weight-in ceremony, making weight without problem at 147 pounds.

Ador Torres and Detrit Sit Saithong are ready for battle.

The shy but powerful Ador will defend his ABF (Asian Boxing Federation) Welterweight Belt against the furious fists of slightly taller former Muay Thai combatant Detrit Sit Saithong, a man with much more fighting experience than Ador.

It's a tough mission for Ador, as well as an important assignment. Because if Ador wins, he would go on to fight for the WBC Asia Continental Title on October 26 here in Bangkok. Brilliant opportunity.

A defeat would be really bad.

Will Ador finish the required job, defend his regional Asian belt, claiming the right to fight for another strap, advancing his career?

WOMEN LACING THEIR GLOVES TOO IN HIGHLAND SHOW

Brave and tough women boxers will be on stage too in this exciting Highland Boxing Promotion show set for tomorrow, Thursday September 28, at the luxurious SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand

Billed as "Destiny of Champions," the show features a hot clash of civilizations:

Cute former two-time world-title challenger Sana Hazuki 脇山さなえ of Fukuoka, Japan fights Tough Lady of Steel Denise Castle of Bournemouth in Dorset, England, for the WBC Atomweight (102 lbs.) Silver Championship, the green & silver strap that both women want to take home.

DENISE OR HAZUKI: WHO DO YOU LIKE?

Cool, smiley and friendly Sana Hazuki is an amazing woman of mettle, as well as a fighter of spirit and resilience who is living an inspiring life.

She loves boxing intensively, although not as much as she loves her one and only son, Reishi.

Yes, positive and lovely, the beautiful Hazuki fights for herself, for honor, and for her kid, never giving up, neither in life, nor in boxing, no matter what.

Meanwhile, the blond lady with green eyes Denise Castle from England will want to defeat Hazuki. Will she be able do that?

Denise is a former Chase Manhattan executive, who has competed widely in combat sports and marathons; and has taught girls how to box and defend themselves.

Denise has trained and fought in Muay Thai in Thailand, gaining belts and awards; but later on in life falling in love with boxing!

The WBC Female Fight of the Year Award for 2018 was given to Denise Castle and her opponent Fabiana Bytyqi (20-0-2, 5 KO's) for their awesome jaw-dropping world title battle 5 years ago in the Czech Republic.

Fabiana is still the reigning WBC 102 lbs. world champion, an opponent Denise would love to battle again.

Could that happen? That depends on the outcome of her battle against Sana Hazuki.

Both are awesome, interesting, inspiring woman, both brave fighters, getting into action in Bangkok in less than 24 hours. Would you love to be there?

And who would you root for?

Their 10-round rumble, as well as the whole show - is made possible thanks to the matchmaking effort of veteran Filipino man of boxing Brico Santig of Benguet, together with Thai promoter Supanat Chanram and Tony Chen - all to be aired live on Thailand's MV TV, as well as on YouTube and Facebook from the Highland Boxing facebook page and youtube channel.

MORE FIGHTS FOR "DESTINY OF CHAMPIONS":

In addition, Atomweight fight girl Lisa Bechina of France will make her much-exciting pro boxing debut in a six-round rumble that opens the door for Lisa to walk with full power into the sport she loves.

Lisa will be taking on younger, more-experienced, slightly taller Daomontha Sor Jakkaphan of Thailand.

Could pretty Lisa step into boxing with a resounding success? Or will Deonmontha spoiled her night?

Lisa is being trained in boxing by committed Filipino veteran boxing coach Frank Jaro of Rizal.

The French beauty is also guided in her new life in boxing by Thailand-base Pinoy trainer Jay R Crisologo.

MORE WOMEN IN ACTION:

And there is more. Because even more women are climbing up Brico Santig's ring for thrilling action:

Unbeaten battling woman Hin Ting Chan (2-0, 1 KO), of Hong Kong takes on Thailand's Nueafa Sor Thongtham, a former Muay Thai warrior girl who wants victory.

Their 8-round rumble is for the vacant Thailand’s PAT Light Flyweight National Title.

Will the taller Hong Kong warrior woman emerge victorious, or will the younger Thai girl get her hand risen by referee Worawuth Duankhao?

MORE FIGHTS:

Also, strong-looking, 1.78 m tall super lightweight Farrukh Arslonov (5-1, 3 KO's) of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, battles big-heart veteran Vachayan Khamon, a former muay thai boxer as well as former movie actor.

In addition, undefeated Armenian-born Russian Mikael Arutyunyan (4-0, KO's) from Pyatigorsk City, squares off Nakharin Hangyu, 21, of beautiful Sisaket in Eastern Thailand.

Their encounter is a 10-chapter saga at a catchweight of 56.8 kilos (125 pounds and a quarter) for a regional Asia Silver belt.

Billed as "Destiny of Champions," the 7-bout boxing show set for Thursday September 28, at the cozy SpacePlus Bangkok, is promoted by Supanat Chanram, and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions, in association with Tony Chen, live on MV TV, Facebook and YouTube.

May the Best Men and Women Win!
