Hicks Battles Gilberto Pereira dos Santos
NEW YORK (September 8, 2023) - TONIGHT at the Motor City Casino, undefeated middleweight Joseph Hicks Jr. will be in action against Gilberto Pereira dos Santos.
The six-round bout will feature Hicks, 8-0 with five knockouts fighting near his Grand Rapids home.
The 29 year-old Hicks has wins over Bilal Quintyne (4-0) as well as his last outing when he took a six-round unanimous decision over Ramses Agaton on July 15th in Detroit.
dos Santos of Brazil is 16-13 with 12 knockouts. The veteran has wins over Benito Pascual Dominguez (10-0), Davi Elasquevici (13-0), Luis Carlos de Almeida Castro (5-1) and John David Martinez (11-1).
Hicks is promoted by Salita Promotions.
