Ryan Garcia Hires Derrick James as New Trainer

Charismatic American star Ryan Garcia has announced that he will now be trained by Derrick James who have very active boxers and future stars at 135, 140, 147 and 154 pounds.
Dallas-based James has one of the best gyms with Frank Martin, Errol Spence Jr., Jermell Charlo and Anthony Joshua among others. Garcia parted ways with trainer Joe Goossen after his loss to Tank Davis.
Garcia was with Goossen as an amateur boxer in Southern California but was also trained by his father, Henry, for many of his professional fights then had a brief stint with Eddy Reynoso in 2018 with about 5 bouts until 2021 finally back with Goossen and they carry out three fights including the defeat with Davis.
