Camigue to fight Pangga in Davao on March 19

BANTAMWEIGHT Alvin Camique of General Santos City will fight undefeated John Vincent Pangga of Cagayan de Oro City in the much-awaited ‘Bakbakan sa Baguio District’ on March 19 at Baguio District in Calinan, Davao City.
“It will be the 8-round main event for 118-pound division,” said promoter Firmo Justine Aligato,
The 25-year-old Camigue recently beat Marco Pomar by unanimous decision last January 11, 2023 at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
Camigues now has five wins, one loss with one knockout while Pangga is still unbeaten with eight straight wins and five knockouts.
The 21-year-old Pangga has scored five wins last year and the last one was against Ruel Julian of Bukidnon by a 1st round knockout last December 8 in Calape, Bohol.
There will also be one 6-rounder and five 4-rounders. The fights will start at 7 p.m. in coordination with Barangay Baguio Proper, Baguio District.
The boxing event is a joint venture between Alcazar Boxing Promotions and Amoy Promotions.
The Alcazar Boxing Promotions is composed of Dr. William Arcilla, lawyer Rizal Acas and Aligato while Amoy Promotions is owned by Alex Amoy.
This is sanctioned by the Games and Amusements Board Davao Region headed by OIC Arnulfo Paterno Sazon II.
