Tyler "Short Fuse" Tomlin Continues Charity Work in Local Community
PhilBoxing.com Tue, 24 Jan 2023

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TN (January 23, 2023) – Fresh off his win to start the new year, Tyler "Short Fuse" Tomlin (14-1, 9 KOs), is already giving back to his local community.
The local lightweight, Ty Tomlin, who is promoted by Lou Dibella, made headlines last weekend for his participation in an event many wouldn't dare try. The event was the very popular Polar Plunge, an icy challenge in which brave souls lineup to jump into cold temperature waters to raise money for the Special Olympics. Tomlin helped raise over 20k via his participation.
"I am not just a fighter in the ring, but I am a fighter for those in my community that I represent," said Tomlin, who is fresh off a win against Gustavo David Vittori, on January 14th. "When you set big goals, you have to be there for those who see you as a symbol of hope. I want those in my direct community to know they can reach out and touch me, watch my journey as well as see how I crusade for social causes close to my heart."
Tomlin's involvement in the charity event is an example of how athletes can use their platform to make a difference and give back to the community. His commitment to the cause is commendable and shows that he is not only an excellent boxer but also someone who cares about making the world a better place.
