DON KING TO SUPPORT AND HOST PARALYZED UKRANIAN MOTHER AND HER TWO SONS AT SENSATIONAL “LET FREEDOM RING” FIGHT CARD PhilBoxing.com Sat, 21 Jan 2023  The Trio Maksymowich to Perform State Anthem of Ukraine Prior to Main Event as Jonathan Guidry and Bermane Stiverne Battle for WBA NABA Gold Heavyweight Title Dedicated to freedom for all Ukranians, the world’s greatest boxing promoter Don King has generously donated a wheelchair and provided tickets for Saturday’s three-championship extravaganza at the Casino Miami Jai-Alai in Miami to a Ukranian refugee mother via a sponsorship to the Miami-based non-profit Universal Aid for Children of Ukraine. Tragically paralyzed during an accident two decades ago, 36-year-old Ukranian refugee Tatiana Grechyshnikova will attend the eight-bout “Let Freedom Ring” event along with her sons, Adam (four) and 17-year-old Vovo. “We appreciate and are grateful to Mr. King for his selfless donation and for hosting a deserving Ukranian family who immigrated to the United States less than six months ago,” said Miami-based Kropke, who is the president of the organization and also a father of nine adopted children. King, a Boca Raton Fla., resident, has put together a scintillating show headlined by WBA NABA Gold Heavyweight Champion Jonathan Guidry (18-1-2, 10 KOs) of Dulac, La., who will defend his title against former WBC Heavyweight Champion Bermane Stiverne (25-5-1, 21 KOs) of Las Vegas, Nev., via Canada. Prior to the main event, the Trio Maksymowich, comprised of Hanya Maksymowich, Donna Maksymowich-Waskiewicz, and Karen Maksymowich-Wilk of the Ukranian Dancers of Miami, will perform the State Anthem of Ukraine. Tickets for the championship card are priced at $25 and $50, while floor ringside are $100. VIP tables will be sold at $2,500.
