UNDEFEATED Criztian Pitt “Golden Boy” Laurente of General Santos City could be the next Manny Pacquiao after he made a grand entrance last Sunday at the Blow-by-Blow revival boxing program at the Mandaluyong City College Gym in Mandaluyong City.
The 22-year-old Laurente stopped veteran JR “Star Boy” Magboo of Mindoro Oriental in just 25 seconds of the first round.
Laurente landed a solid right straight to send down Magboo at the corner as referee Danrex Tapdasan completed his count as the 32-year-old Magboo was not able to recover.

Veteran referee Danrex Tapdasan waves off the fight after Laurente knocks out Magboo.

Laurente wins the PBF featherweight title during the re-opening of the Blow-by-Blow boxing program on Nov. 20 in Mandaluyong City.

Laurente, a former youth amateur standout, is now the new Philippine Boxing Federation super featherweight champion. Laurente is still undefeated with 11 wins with seven knockouts.
Boxing legend Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao was present to witness the start of the revival of the Blow-by-Blow boxing program.
Two-time world champion Gerry “Fearless” Peñalosa has been tasked by Pacquiao to handle the logistics of putting up fights with the help of seasoned matchmaker Art Monis.
