Brokenshire still has magic five
By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Fri, 07 Oct 2022
THE Brokenshire College of Davao City still has the “magic five” from its old roster when it plays in the Inter-Collegiate Division of the ALDU Cup in the Davao del Norte Basketball League (DDNBL).
Head coach Arnulfo Rojas said five of the old line-up are still in tack while 10 are the new players.
The five veterans are Joyce Balucan, 6'2; Josua Bulatin 5'8; Jan Gaslang 5'10; Junald Ronquillo 6'1; and Dexter Polistico, 6’1 while the new ones are Killy House Demoral, 6'3; Ryan Evangelista, 6'3; Kyle Regidor, 6'2; Michael Pearson, 6'2; Ryan Malazarte 5'9; Jon Yamido 5'11; Gilbert Busano 5'10; Jeremy Ancajas 5'4; Brander Bacong 5'7; Kertz Demigillo 5'6; and Kining Yumol, 5'5.
“We are ready, in fact we're already playing in the separate leagues,” said Rojas.
Brokenshire was supposed to play against Saint John Paul II on October 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the ALDU Cup in Carmen.
But Brokeshire has a conflict with their game in another out-of-town game in Tagum. The games in Tagum and Makilala are still going on.
Brokenshire is already included in the best of four in Tagum.
“This ALDU Cup league is OK because we will play out of town,” said Rojas.
