De Castro is over-all gross champ anew

ALBERNITO “Denden” de Castro fired a 72 to win again as the over-all gross champion in the Monthly Medal for September at the Apo Golf and Country Club held last Sept. 16 to 18.
He made three birdies in holes no. 3, 13 and 17.
De Castro, a four-handicapper, was also the over-all gross champion last August. Over-all net champion was Paul Cabrera, a 27-handicapper, who shot a 62.
Class C players Jay Molde and Carlo Senase combined for 176 to emerge as team champion.
Anton Nitorreda shot a 76 to claim the Class A gross champion.
Class B gross champion was Franz Nino Pasquil with a 77 while the runner-up was Hilario Baluso with a 79.
Jeremiah Co made a 67 to win the Class B net champion while the runner-up was Gerardo Josol at countback.
Mariza Tionko shot a 67 to win the Ladies division while the runner-up was Maria Lourdes Babol at 72.
The other winners:
Class C – gross champion – John Pascual, 86; runner-up – Jay Molde, 87; net champion – Ricky Hanz Tagabucba, 63; runner-up – Tomas Vicente Tionko – 64;
Guest – gross champion – Jonathan Cabreros, 77; runner-up – Manfred Lawas – 80; net champion – Pete Lorenzana, 59; runner-up – Enrico Rosales, 60.
