Santisima wins, Mangubat falls in Japan

FORMER WBO world title contender Jeo “Santino” Santisima of Masbate stopped Hiroshige Osawa of Japan by a 5th round technical knockout last night, August 14 at the EDION Arena in Osaka.
The 26-year-old Santisima of ZIP Sanman now has 22 wins, four loses with 19 knockouts.
ZIP is represented by Nobuyuki Matsuura and Marivic Kamiyama while Sanman Boxing is headed by Jim Claude Manangquil.
Meanwhile, Tomjune “War Dog” Mangubat of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon lost in his bid for the Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation super featherweight title against Masanori Rikiishi of Japan in the main event.
Mangubat lost by a technical knockout in the 4th round. He now has four loses with 15 wins, one draw with 12 knockouts.
