Prince Maverick Cornelio tops GM Balinas Training Center 1st Anniversary.

Prince Maverick Cornelio, 19, of Poblacion Pamplona, scored 13.5 to take the P 3,000 first prize in GM Balinas Training Center 1st Anniversary. Two other Poblacion players, Fitz Cornelio (elder sister of Prince Maverick) and Jessie Dalleda took P2,000 and P1,000 respectively. Ib-Ib Erickson, Aliaviado, Dale, Aguilar, Kaye, and Dalleda, Joy tied at 10.5 (wins worth P300 school supplies) The 8th to 10th placer also receives P300 worth of school supplies. I'm sure every player enjoyed the tournament and looks forward to playing next year. I would like to thank Grandmaster Rosendo Balinas Jr. the Balinas family, especially Dr. Joe Balinas who made Balinas Training center much more than just a tournament.
