Undefeated Lausa to fight on Aug. 5

UNBEATEN Jenel “The Demolition Man” Lausa of Iloilo City will fight against Michael Escobia of Bohol on August 5, 2022 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Lausa, a former UFC fighter, had no fight from 2020 to 2021.
In his last fight, Lausa scored a 5th round knockout against Carlos Lopez of Indonesia last September 7, 2019 at the Rizal Park in Digos City.
Lausa downed Lopez four times in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round before it was finally stopped by the referee in the 5th. Lausa is the co-owner of Rebel 2 Combat Sports.
Escobia (12-21-1, 3KOs), on the other hand, recently lost to Jhon Gemino of Paranaque by a TKO in the 6th round last April 25 in San Andres.
The fight is one of the undercards of the 12-round BWO title-fight between Edward “General” Heno of Paranaque City against Roenel “Hitman” Pael of Matalom, Leyte.
The other fights are: Weljon Mindoro vs. Jason Egera (10 rds), Sonny Boy Jaro vs. RV Deniega (8 rds), ArAr Andales vs. Bonjun Loperez (6 rds), Lloyd Jardeliza vs. Rodel Sunquit (6 rds), Jericho Gatchalian vs. Paolo Sy (6 rds), Justine Darap vs. Vincent Bautista (6 rds), Michael Mendoza vs. Lowell Saguisa, and Jonathan Gajana vs. Iresh Alejandre (4 rds).
The big comeback show is by US-based promoter Aljoe Jaro of Jaro International Promotion.
