Borres hit by a car in US

FLYWEIGHT Jeronil “Chocolatito” Borres of Catarman, Camiguin was hit by a car while he was riding a bike on the way home yesterday at Carson City in USA.
“I’m OK. My foot is fine, it's just a bruise,” said the 27-year-old Borres. He is now at the Harbor UCLA Hospital.
Borres was riding alone at 5:30 p.m. after he had a practice in the Fabela Chavez Boxing Gym in Carson City, California.
“He was not looking at the road side. It had stopped already but he kept running straight,” said Borres, who was riding an electric bicycle.
Borres is scheduled to have a fight with undefeated Cristopher Rios (8-0) of the US on July 18 at Commerce Casino in Commerce.
Borres earlier lost to Andy Dominguez Velasquez of Mexico by a technical knockout in the 1st round last March 26, 2022 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
