Mendaruz is veteran’s champ in Malalag

VETERAN Ludy Mendaruz Jr. of GIANT Phils.-Lifecycle won the Veterans Category in the Mountain Bike Festival 2022 held May 15 at the Malalag Adventure Park in Barangay Libertad, Butuan City.
Mendaruz clocked 15:03 to beat Kawhi Emperador of Trailheads, who placed second.
Third place was 2020 Dubai Fujirah Adventure champion Almar Kelly Odiong of Redpalm Team Riders, who clocked at 15:18.
Meanwhile, Eugene Dolores of Birdland topped the 30 to 39 years old division with a time of 13:24.
Carl John Fernandez of Pedal Monkey finished second at 13:25 followed by Redford Cuerquis of RVR Bike Park at 13:26.
