Baliete fights Jalaron in PEC Bout 12
By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Thu, 14 Apr 2022
NEW Professional Mix Martial Arts practitioner Jojet “Little Bebiano” Baliete of Tagum City will be fighting again on May 7 against Mark Anthony “The Rizalianon Fighter” Jalaron of Rizal in the Philippine Encuentro Championship Bout 12 at the Tejeros in Makati City.
Baliete lost to Rodel Garde of Davao City in his first professional fight by a referee-stopped-contest due to injury in the 1st round in his first pro match held in Panabo City.
“Just three days from the end of the fight, the injury was okay already,” said Baliete of the Batang Pantukan JJAMMA.
Baliete sustained a cut on his left eye after trying to stop Garde from putting him down.
“I was not even hit hard by a punch. I was just cut,” said the 34-year-old Baliete.
Baliete still has a record of four wins and one draw in the Pro-Am division. He will now be fighting at 125 pounds, two pounds lighter than the previous fight.
“I really have to avoid being below and be on top always to have control,” added the 4-foot-11 Baliete.
Jalaron, on the other hand, has a record of two wins and one loss. The 5-foot-6 Jalaron is from the Catalan Fighting System MMA.
