Koko Pimentel Thanksgiving Online Chess Tournament on January 20, 2022 at 7pm virtually held at Lichess.com Platform. Also playing are Fide Master Nelson "Elo" Mariano III of Bacoor City, Cavite, Woman Fide Master Allaney Jia Doroy of Quezon City and Woman Fide Master Cherry Ann Mejia of Taguig City. According to International Arbiter and National Master Elias Lao Jr. the time control format is 5 minutes plus 3 seconds increment using 9 Rounds Swiss System in this 1-day Free Registration online tournament. The champion will earn P8,000. The second placer will get P4,000 while the third placer will bring home P3,000. Fourth to eight places will receive P1,000 each.
