Josh Taylor Destroys Khongsong in 1; Wants Ramírez Next

As he predicted, unbeaten British Champion Josh Taylor (17-0, 13 KO's) blasted out Thailand challenger Apinum Khongsong to retain his WBA/IBF Super Lightweight world titles Saturday evening in London, England.

An aggressive, hugely effective Taylor ended the Thai boxer with a vicious left impact to the body that rocked him down to the canvas and out at the 2:41 mark in round 1.

It took time and lots of air for the Thai boxer to get back on his feet after absorbing that ripping body shot.

Taylor’s ravaging and expected win prompts fans to crave for a hot 4-title unification battle of the Briton power warrior against unbeaten Mexican-American WBC/WBO 140-pound Kingpin José Carlos Ramírez (26-0, 17 KO's).

It would be awesome treat for fans.

Taylor vs Ramírez would be a dream all-titles 140-pound fight, hopefully for 2021.

Promoters from Saturday's show in London were Frank Warren and Bob Arum live on BT Sport and ESPN+
