Buitrago Intensifies Training for World Title Battle Against Soto By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Mon, 21 Sep 2020  Nicaraguan world-ranked contender Carlos "Chocorroncito" Buitrago (32-5-1, 18 KO’s) puts on more sweat in preparation for his 5th attempt at a world title, this time against Mexican WBO Light Flyweight World Champion Elwin "La Pulga" Soto (17-1, 12 KO’s). The 108-pound encounter will unfold in late October @ The Fantasy Spring Casino in Indio, California, USA. The clash will be the second world title defense for the 23-year-old Elwin Soto after a successful first defense against Filipino Edward Heno. Now the bat is again for the veteran Nicaraguan who has already challenged four times for world crowns, losing in all four tries.
