Boxing Continues in Nicaragua Despite Covid-19 (Photos) By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Thu, 30 Apr 2020 ![]() There was a successful televised pro boxing event last Saturday in the land of "Chocolatito" González, Nicaragua. ☀️ The show — promoted by Nicaraguan former two-time world champion Rosendo "El Buffalo" Alvarez — was broadcast live in Latin America on ESPN Knockout. 🥊 These are images of how the action unfolded at the Alexis Arguello stadium in Nicaragua's capital city Managua. 😷 As of today (April 30), Nicaragua has recorded a total of only 14 cases of covid-19 coronavirus.
