NBA Daily: Rockets Wallop Hawks 158-111 Behind Harden’s 60 Points in 31 Minutes

Caticlan, Malay, Aklan – Former league MVP James Harden once again delivered an offensive juggernaut, scoring 60 points in 31 minutes of action to lead the Houston Rockets in thrashing the Atlanta Hawks 158-111 on Saturday night (Sunday morning, Philippine time) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Harden shot 16-for-24 from the field, including 8-for-14 from deep, to go along with 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. He also made 20 of his 23 attempts at the charity stripe.
Ben McLemore connected 6 treys to add 24 markers for the Rockets, who improved to 13 wins and 6 losses.
Trae Young had 37 points for Atlanta, who now sits at the bottom of the team standings and dropped to a league-worst 4-16 win-loss card.
Up next for the Hawks are the Golden State Warriors in Atlanta on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Rockets will visit San Antonio on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning, Philippine time) to face the Spurs.
