NBA Daily: Doncic Tallies Triple-Double in Mavs' Thrashing of Warriors 142-94
By Reylan Loberternos PhilBoxing.com Fri, 22 Nov 2019

Boracay Island, Philippines – Fresh from recording a historic 42-point triple-double in his previous outing, Luka Doncic followed it up with yet another scintillating performance, as the Dallas Mavericks pummeled the Golden State Warriors 142-94 on Wednesday night (Thursday morning, Philippine time) at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
The 20-year-old phenom’s legend is growing each game. He made 33 markers on a 10-for-11 field goal shooting, including 6-for-7 from deep in the first half alone, just one point shy of matching Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki’s franchise record for points in a half.
The second-year Slovenian star still managed to post a triple-double, finishing with 35 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, and 3 steals in just 25 minutes of action for the Mavericks, who improved to 9 wins against 5 losses.
Rookie Eric Paschall led the hapless Warriors with 22 points. The NBA’s best in the past 5 years are now the league’s worst at 3 wins and 13 defeats. Draymond Green sat out the contest due to right heel soreness.
The Warriors will be at Utah to face the Jazz on Friday night (Saturday morning, Philippine time).
Meanwhile, the Mavericks will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on the same date.
