Kawhi Klaws Out Victory Over His Old Team & Reigning Champs the Toronto Raptors
By John Holtz PhilBoxing.com Wed, 13 Nov 2019

LOS ANGELES -- The Raptors clamped down on their former MVP Kawhi Leonard and even kept him scoreless in the 1st half going 0-5. Leonard was double teamed most of the night but still contributed with 12 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals just shy of a triple double.
Lou Williams stepped up big off the bench as usual with 21 points in a low scoring affair. Montrezl Harrell's defense was huge with 3 big blocks, 2 steals, 11 rebounds and even added 14 points on offense. He threw down a monster dunk on the play of the night after a sweet dime from Leonard to help seal the deal and give the Clippers the win 98-88 over the Toronto Raptors Monday night at Staples Center.
Last years Most Improved Player Pascal Siakam led the Raptors in the loss with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. The Raptors beat the Lakers the night before but couldn't get the clean sweep of both L.A. teams on this road trip and are now 7-3.
The crowd which included celebrities Adam Sandler and Kevin Hart was split almost 50/50 cheering for both teams with MVP chants for Leonard throughout the night. The Clippers played a sloppy offensive game but their defense helped them improve to a 7-3 record only a half game back of their roommate rivals the Los Angeles Lakers.
In a battle of two great coaches, Doc Rivers showed why he's the Doctor and Nick is just a Nurse.
