Lausa wins GBO Asia Pacific super featherweight title

DAVAO CITY --- Undefeated Jenel "The Demolition Man" Lausa of Iloilo knocked out Carlos Lopez of Indonesia in the 5th round to win the Global Boxing Organization (GBO) Asia Pacific super featherweight title last Sept. 7 at the Rizal Park in Digos City.
It was the 10th win and the 6th knockout by 31-year old Lausa while Lopez suffered his 10th loss against 28 wins with 9 knockouts.
In the supporting bout, featherweight Richard Bulacan of Davao Oriental TKO'd Vergel Deguma of Gen. Santos City in the 5th round.
The 20-year old Bulacan is still undefeated with 7 wins and five knockouts while Deguma suffered his 6 loss with 9 wins.
