Five of his fights resulted in unanimous decisions, one majority decision, one split decision and one no contest.

Thurman's last three fights resulted in unanimous decision over Shawn Porter in June 25, 2016, split decision over Danny Garcia in March 4, 2017, and majority decision over Josesito Lopez in January 26, 2019.

He was inactive for 22 months because of his hand and elbow injuries.

Other opponents who survived and lost by unanimous decision to Thurman were Robert Guerrero, Leonard Bundu, Jan Zaveck, and Edvan Dos Santos Barros.

The no contest was declared when he fought Francisco Garcia due to an accidental clash of heads in the first round.
