PACQUIAO VS. THURMAN FACTS AND FIGURES

At the official weighin, both Manny Pacquiao (61-7-2, 39 KOs) and Keith Thurman (29-0, 22 KOs) weighs 146? pounds for the 147-pound limit World Boxing Association world welterweight championship.

Pacquiao is the WBA (Regular) welterweight champion, an eight-division world champion and the former three-time WBO and lineal welterweight champion. Thurman is the WBA (Super) welterweight champion and the former WBC welterweight champion

Pacquiao fought 70 bouts, 474 rounds with 56% KO rate. Thurman fought 30 bouts, 148 rounds with 73% KO rate.

Pacquiao knocked out big name opponents such as Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, David Diaz, Erik Morales, and Marco Antonio Barrera.

Thurman knocked out his first eight opponents in the first round that is why he is named "One Time". He knocked out 22 of his 29 opponents.

Pacquiao is 5′5?″ (166cm) with a reach of 67″ (170cm). Thurman is 5′ 7?″ (171cm) with a reach of 69″ (175cm).

Pacquiao is a southpaw while Thurman is an orthodox fighter.

Pacquiao is 40 years old, born December 17, 1978 in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Philippines and is fighting out of Saranggani Province. He had his professional debut on January 22, 1995.

Thurman is 30 years old, born November 23, 1988 in Clearwater, Florida, USA. He had his professional debut on November 23, 1988.

Boxrec rated Pacquiao No. 3 welterweight boxer in the world, behind (1) Terence Crawford and (2) Errol Spence Jr. while Thurman is at No. 7 behind (4) Shawn Porter, (5) Danny Garcia, and (6) Yordenis Ugas.

The Ring rated Pacquiao No. 5 while Thurman is No. 3 in the welterweight division behind (1) Spence, (2) Crawford, and (4) Porter.

The Transnational Boxing Ranking Board ranks Pacquiao at No. 5 while Thurman is No. 4 behind (1) Spence, (2) Crawford and (3) Porter in the welterweight division.

Both Pacquiao and Thurman are enrolled in the VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) Clean Boxing Program (CBP).

As what the Nevada State Athletic Commission officially announced, the contract purse of Pacquiao is $10 million, but he is guaranteed at least double the amount. Thurman's purse is $2.5 million but he is guaranteed to also receive additional millions.

Pacquiao has sold approximately 19.6 million in pay-per-view buys and $1.2 billion in revenue from his 24 PPV bouts. This is Thurman's first PPV fight.
