JACA TO FIGHT JAPANESE CHAMP ON MARCH 20

Cebu-based Jimrex "The Executioner" Jaca of the Rex 'Wakee' Salud Stable figures in a big fight on March 20 when he faces highly-ranked Japanese Kengo Nagashima in a non-title bout in Japan.
"Jimrex will fight Nagashima in Japan," said a source from the RWS Gym.
The 32-year-old southpaw Nagashima (32-3-2, 15 KO's) is currently the Japanese lightweight champion and ranked OPBF no. 1 lightweight and WBC no. 20.
Jaca (28-3-3, 13 KO's), who holds the WBO Asia Pacific super-featherweight title, had figured in two successive technical draws against Ryu Miyagi in his last two fights.
A victory over Nagashima will put Jaca for a possible crack at any of the major belts in the near future.
