DAVAO CITY (May 1) ? Jade Bornea, Mike Plania and Vince Paras scored similar knockouts against their opponents last Tuesday at Brawl at the Mall 12 at the Robinson?s Mall in General Santos City. Bornea, reigning WBO Oriental Youth super flyweight title holder stopped Jonathan Francisco by the 2nd round technical knockout in the main event. It was the 14th win and the 10th by a knockout by Bornea. Plania, current WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver super bantamweight champion, knockout Nicong Calamba in the 2nd round. Plania improved to 20 wins with 11 knockouts against 1 loss. Paras, who is now fighting for the Kapa Boxing Promotion used his telling blows in scoring a 7th round technical knockout over Reymark Taday. Two others of Kapa scored TKOs. Garren Diagan stopped Ryan Makiputin in an 8-rounder while Rogelio Doliguez TKO?d Alvin Bais in the 1st round. The results: Jhunrile Castino TKO?d Paolo Perono in the 1st round; Carjun Carcosia KO Celso Sardido KO in the 2nd round; James Bacon KO Jovany Rota in the 1st round; Regie Manangquil KO Junrex Saldivia in the 3rd round; Criztian Pitt Laurente KO Rey Indita in the 1st round; Cris Laurente KO Jerry Diagan in the 1st round; Guillaume Lorenzo KO Ronel Petras in the 2nd round.
