NBA -- Knicks beat Nets to go 2-0 in preseason play
By Taha Qureshi PhilBoxing.com Thu, 04 Oct 2018

BROOKLYN. The New York Knicks won the latest version of the "battle of the boroughs" by nipping the Nets, 107-102, at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn
Enes Kanter led the charge with 22 points and 20 rebounds while Trey Burke and Tim Hardway Jr combined for 18 for the Knicks, who played without Kristpas Porzingis (left knee) and Joakim Noah (DNP-personal).
After trailing 26-17 at the end of the first quarter, the Knicks separated themselves from their hosts with a 64-45 run between the second and third quarters. Brooklyn charged back 31-26 in the final 12 minutes, but it wasn't enough.
The Knicks ended up making 38 of 81 from the field and 5-of-15 from 3-point range. They also out-rebounded the Nets, 49-45.
Caris LeVert topped the Nets with 15 points while Spencer Dinwiddie and Rodions Kurucs each had 13. DeAngelo Russell finished with 11 points but Brooklyn shot only 38.9 percent from the field (37 of 95).
The Knicks rose to 2-0 in preseason play while the Nets are 0-1.
Enes Kanter (center) went wild with 22 points and 20 rebounds in the Knicks' 107-102 conquest of the Nets at Barclays Center.
