MMA LEGEND URIJAH FABER JOINS UFC FIGHT NIGHT SINGAPORE: COWBOY VS EDWARDS PhilBoxing.com Mon, 11 Jun 2018 UFC? FIGHT NIGHT SINGAPORE: COWBOY VS EDWARDS presented by AirAsia, returns to Singapore on Saturday, June 23, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. As part of Fight Week activities, UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber will be in Singapore adding to the excitement of an already highly anticipated live event. Faber will be involved in community engagement programmes, before cornering up and coming Chinese athlete Song Yadong who will be facing Felipe ?Sertanejo? Arantes in a featherweight bout, outlining Faber?s commitment to helping to grow MMA in the Asia region. Faber has made a smooth transition from the Octagon to coaching. As founder of leading California-based MMA gym, Team Alpha Male in 2004, his legacy continues to live on as he helps to develop the next generation of UFC athletes. Amongst these are Chad Mendes, Paige Van Zant and former Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt. Team Alpha Male has also groomed many Asian athletes including Song and Teruto Ishihara who is also featured on the UFC Fight Night Singapore card, this coming June 23rd at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Other bouts on the card include the highly anticipated welterweight clash between No. 11-ranked Donald ?Cowboy? Cerrone against No. 14-ranked rising British star Leon ?Rocky? Edwards.
