NBA -- Celtics advance to second round with Game 7 win over Bucks
By Oliver Iglesias PhilBoxing.com Mon, 30 Apr 2018

BOSTON ? Terry Rozier rose to the occasion and scored 26 points with nine assists to help the Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals on Saturday night at the TD Garden.
With the impressive victory, the Celtics punched a ticket in the East semifinals against the red-hot Philadelphia 76ers.
Al Horford also finished with 26 markers but collared 8 rebounds on 13-for-17 field goal shooting. Two more Celtics finished in double figures with rookie star Jayson Tatum chipping in 20 points and 5 assists and Marcus Morris contributing 10 points and 4 boards.
Boston had a 50-42 halftime lead in the first half and was never threatened even after the 3rd canto, 81-67.
With 7:12 left in the final quarter, Rozier made a three-point dagger to pad the lead to fifteen, 92-77. He had an exceptional shooting night, sinking 10 of his 16 shots and 5-for-8 on 3-pointers.
At the post-game press conference, this Philboxing.com contributor posed a query for Rozier on what he expects for the Philadelphia series.
?It will be a real battle. Those guys are hot right now and playing very well. Ben Simmons will certainly push the pace and we will try to keep up with them. It will be a great test for us. We will be ready on Monday,? he replied.
Milwaukee forward Khris Middleton topscored for the Bucks with 32 points, All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo added 22 while guard Eric Bledsoe ? booed all night by Celtics fans ? had 23 points.
Boston went 45-for-84 for a 53.6% clip while Milwaukee had 35-for-74 for 47.3% field goal conversion.
The Celtics will host Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons-led Philadelphia 76ers for Game 1 on Monday, April 30, to start their best-of-seven second round playoff series.
