Hard-hitting Reymart Gaballo (18W-0L,16KO?s) of the Sanman Gym of Gen.Santos City is set for the biggest break of his career when he goes for the WBA interim world bantamweight title against unbeaten American prospect Stephon Young (17-0-3,7KO?s) at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida.

Young is a WBA-NABA titleholder. In his last fight, he knocked out Antwan Robertson in one round in Missouri. Gaballo is making his third appearance abroad. He previously had two TKO wins against Ernesto Guerrero in Hawaii and Ulises Rivero in Mexico.

During today?s official weigh-in, Gaballo was at 116.6lbs while Young was at the division limit of 118lbs.

Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing of the weights. Gaballo in an e-mail message stated, ?I am ready. I trained hard for this fight and I will be world champion tomorrow.?

Another Sanman boxer, Mike Plania will be gunning for the regional WBA-NABA super bantamweight title when he squares off against Juan Carlos Payano of the Dominican Republic in the same card.

Plania is unbeaten in 14 fights,7 KO?s and will also be making his U.S. debut.

Payano (19-1,9KO?s) is a former world champ, having beaten Panamanian Anselmo Moreno by technical decision in 2014 for the WBA bantamweight title. A couple of eyars later, he lost his title by majority decision to American Rau?shee Warren.

Plania said in his e-mail message that he is happy to fight a former champ by now is his time.

During the weigh-in, Plania was at 117.6lbs while Payano stepped on the scales at 117.8lbs.
