SANMAN?S ENGELBERT MORALDE RETURNS TO JAPAN

Bantamweight Engelbert Moralde is set for another fight in Japan this March 10 held at the well-known Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The 24 year old Moralde (9W-4L, 6KO’s) will be pitted against Keita Kurihara (8W-4L, 7KO’s) of Tokyo in a non-title contest set for eight rounds.
Moralde will try to improve on his first appearance in Japan when he lost to Kenbun Torres by unanimous decision last December in Osaka. The 24 year old Kurihara won by TKO in his last four bouts.
Moralde’s last win was when he beat Jun Eraham by unanimous decision in Tupi, South Cotabato last September.
Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing that Moralde will travel to Japan together with Sanman gym head trainer Romeo Desabille on March 7.
“Moralde has been training in the Sanman gym for more than a month now and is well prepared for this bout.” Manangquil stated.
