MANNY PACQUIAO NOW RATED NO. 7 POUND-FOR-POUND BY ESPN By Maloney L. Samaco PhilBoxing.com Sat, 12 Nov 2016 The reputable ESPN.com published its latest world boxing pound-for-pound ratings and listed Senator Manny Pacquiao at No. 7 after a successful comeback fight against Jessie Vargas in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ESPN ratings kept the undefeated Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (46-0, 38 KOs) at the top of the P4P list at No. 1. His last fight was a UD12 over Carlos Cuadras on Sept. 10, 2016. At No. 2 is Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) who won by TKO5 over Kell Brook on September 10, 2016. Rated No. 3 is Sergy Kovalev (30-0-1, 26 KOs) who last won UD12 over Isaac Chilemba on July 11, 2016. He will face Andre Ward on November 19, 2016. Placed No. 4 by ESPN, Terence Crawford (29-0, 20 KOs) was victorious UD12 against Viktor Postol on July 23, 2016. His is scheduled to fight John Molina Jr. next on December 10, 2016. Andre Ward (30-0, 15 KOs) who recently prevailed by UD12 versus Alexander Brand on August 6, 2016, is at No. 5, will battle Kovalev next in one of the most awaited P4P fights. Listed No. 6 is Canelo Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs), winner KO9 over Liam Smith on September 17, 2016.
