NBA -- Snell's career-high 24 lifts Bulls past Kings, 104-86 By Anthony Rozic PhilBoxing.com Thu, 12 Feb 2015 ![]() CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls won their third straight game on Tuesday night following a 104-86 rout of the plummeting Sacramento Kings at the United Center. Tony Snell played 40 minutes and 55 seconds off the bench and made the most out of it by scoring a career-best 24 points on 9-for-11 shooting, including a 4-for-6 clip from 3-point range. "You never know when your name gets called. I've got to make sure I'm ready when my name gets called," the 24-year old Snell told reporters. Pau Gasol turned in another his 13th straight triple-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds. The 7-foot Spaniard leads the NBA in double-doubles this season with 34. Derrick Rose added 23 points and seven assists for the Bulls but Jimmy Butler was held to five points and played only for 22 minutes before leaving in the second quarter with a shoulder strain. At 33-20 the Bulls moved up to third place overall in the Eastern Conference. They also hold a one game lead over the 32-21 Cleveland Cavaliers for the Central Division title. Rudy Gay led the Kings with 24 points while DeMarcus Cousins had 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Ben McLemore and Ray McCallum each had 11 points but the Kings made only 2-of-12 triples and committed 13 turnovers against the Bulls' seven.
