NBA - Grizzlies star Mike Conley plans visit to Philippines

CHICAGO -- Because the Philippines is such a fertile NBA market with millions of adoring fans, NBA superstars such as Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Derrick Rose, et al, have visited the country in recent summers.
Add Mike Conley to the list, pretty soon.
In a recent interview with PhilBoxing's Rex Alba, who also contributes for NBA.com Philippines, Conley said he looks forward to visiting the Philippines.
"I was supposed to go last summer, but the trip was canceled," Conley revealed. "I love you guys, I want to visit you soon," Conley said while acknowledging his Filipino fan base.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Conley is one of the top point guards in the NBA, leading the Memphis Grizzlies to a sterling 21-7 start. In his eighth NBA season, Conley is averaging 14.6 points and 6.2 assists in 539 regular season games. (Homer D. Sayson)
