ZERAFA READY FOR GREAT PERFORMANCE IN WBO WORLD YOUTH TITLE FIGHT
By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Wed, 22 Oct 2014

Undefeated Australian Michael ?Pretty Boy? Zerafa has arrived to minus 7 degree temperatures in Moscow but is in high spirits and is expected to put on a great performance in his WBO World Youth middleweight title fight against Russia?s unbeaten Arif Magomedov on Saturday.
Zerafa who has a record of 15-0 with 7 knockouts will face the tough Russian Magomedov who is also undefeated and has a record of 12-0 with 8 knockouts. Both fighters are 22 years old.
Well known Aussie promoter Peter Maniatis who handles Zerafa told the Manila Standard/Viva Sports that his fighter has had four days to settle into the Moscow conditions before the ?biggest challenge he has faced so far.?
Manatis said he and his team believe that Zerafa ?belongs at this level and is looking to put on a massive performance.?
The weigh-in is tomorrow.
Zerafa who is the Victorian State light middleweight champion is coming off an eighth round unanimous decision over Joe Rea last June 27 while Magomedov saw action on August 9 when he won the vacant WBA interim title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Patrick Mendy.
