BANGKOK, Thailand -- With the guidance of Filipino coaches JJ Jorda (R) of Iloilo and Geboi Mansalayao of Surigao, Indian Super Middleweight Gaganpreet Sharma (L) conquered Thai warrior Odisorn Kesornsombat, 25, knocking him down two times to the canvas en route to a round 4 TKO win in the main event of "Fist of Fury" Saturday (June 2) at Ram 100 Boxing Stadium here in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

In the card's co-main feature, super welter Sagar Narwat of Faridabad, India, and Thai opponent Atthapon Baenkham fought to a close 6-round majority decision draw. Narwat was the aggressor during the first two rounds, thought lost steam allowing the younger Thai to steal subsequent rounds. Narwat, then, clearly claimed the sixth to force the draw.

MORE RESULTS FROM THAILAND

The most exciting match of the evening was courtesy of fighting women Urvashi Singh, 23, of India and Thai warrior girl Sirintip Wuychaiphoom, 17, as the two ladies battled it out with back-and-fouth bombs from the get-go thrilling the fans in attendance. The stronger, faster more aggressive Urvashi Singh prevailed, claiming a TKO victory in round 2.

In lightweights, Sachin Dekwal of India ravaged the brave, heavily tattooed Vachayan Khamon of Thailand, beating him down to the floor twice for a TKO triumph in round 2. Official time of the stoppage as recorded by the Professional Boxing Association of Thailand was 1:40 minutes in round two.

In addition, super lightweight Abhishek Verma of India overpowered brave-heart warrior Aphisit Namkhot of Sa Kaeo, Thailand, forcing him to capitulate flat on his back in round 2. Time was 1:30 minutes in the second stanza.

Bearded super bantam Kamal Singh, 22, brutalized Thailand prize-fighter Pongpasin Chulerd in two rounds for a KO win. Kamal began slow in his pro debut, though quickly picked-up the pace, landing damaging hands on the brave Pongpasin who succumbed against the ropes near a neutral corner for the full 10-second count delivered by veteran third man Bunsom Deejang. Official time was 2:40 minutes in round 2.

And in Super featherweights, Thai counter-puncher Tanpisit Chairach successfully landed huge destructive hands over Dharamvir Singh of India to dismantle him in the very first chapter to record a faster than expected TKO win. Time was 2:42 in round 1.

The night was a knock out festival in which the supervisor was Thai Army Coronel Damrong Simakajornboon and the ringside doc was Dr. Jirasak Bubpachart.
