Top Rank Boss Bob Arum sat down with 8CountNews this morning and gave us an in depth update on the big upcoming November 22nd Pacquiao Vs. Aglieri fight, set for Macao, China.
Arum tells 8CN that Pacquiao is very relaxed and focused for this fight with no distractions. He also gives praise and compliments to Pacquiao’s opponent, Chris Algieri. Make no mistake about it, Algieri is coming to win this fight, and Arum and Pacquiao are well aware of it.
Arum also shares his thoughts on a possible fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather. He makes no bones about this. Arum says, “There’s only one person blocking this fight from happening, and his name is Floyd Mayweather.” Arum tells 8CN that Top Rank and Manny Pacquiao are ready to sit down and negotiate the fight, but Floyd being locked into a Showtime deal, with two more fights left, it may be a “senior citizens” fight by the time it ever happens, if ever.
