Yesterday during a teleconference to help promote HBO’s May 5th’s battle between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr., Mayweather had plenty to say about De La Hoya’s choice for a sparring partner, “Sugar” Shane Mosley.
Mayweather was not impressed with Mosley, dissing Mosley for being nothing more than a sparring partner and insulting Mosley for not being his own boss.
In regards to Mosley being De La Hoya’s sparring partner, Mayweather blasted: ?If Shane Mosley is a sparring partner, then that?s what he is.?
Mayweather did not stop there, he further insulted Mosley, adding: ?That?s all Shane Mosley?s ever been, was a sparring partner. I can?t really say nothing bad about Shane because he?s not his own boss. If I?m gonna say anything or talk about Shane, I?m gonna talk to his wife or I?m gonna talk to Oscar because they?re his bosses. So all I can say is Shane ain?t nothin? but a sparring partner.?
