He is shortly thereafter standing behind Floyd Mayweather, as part of the Mayweather group, cheering Floyd on. This is the same Floyd Mayweather Jr. who in a boxing moment of irony threw his name into the hat as a potential purchaser of the Los Angeles Clippers.
This is the same Mayweather that UFC President Dana White called out as a racist for comments in regards to New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin. ?Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he?s Asian.?
This is the same Mayweather that had an upstream video rant of a few years past with respect to Manny Pacquiao whereby he stated ?Cook him up with some barbeque dog? and ?Cook that yellow chump? and ?I?ll make that mother f***er make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice?.
I think you have the wrong corner there Tyrese. I think the Clippers are probably not a good fit! We probably shouldn?t forget either Mayweather?s Manny Pacquiao diatribe where he referenced the Champion Pacquiao as a ?whore? and a ?fa-ot?. Now speaking of Clippers how about the following Mayweather Clippers as in a big ?no NBA for Money May?: A 2002 Mayweather conviction on two counts of domestic violence, a 2004 convictions on two counts of misdemeanor battery for assaulting two women (I wonder if he used the shoulder roll!), a 2012 conviction for domestic violence (leading to a two month prison term), and lastly, not leastly, and probably not lastly, this past weekends Mayweather decision to let the entire world know by way of his social media twit that his former fianc?e had an abortion and being the lovely gent that he is, posting the ultrasound images.
I THINK THE CLIPPERS ARE PROBABLY NOT A FIT FOR MAYWEATHER AND THE NBA
Two ? The Fight Floyd Mayweather won a majority decision in a highly competitive fight. What was astonishing was how often Maidana was able to track Mayweather down and punish him. After the fight Mayweather had a big welt over one eye, a welt over another eye, and a patched up cut over his right eye. There were immediate calls for a rematch.
Three ? Mandatory Money Not! Keith Thurman is an undefeated knockout artist with both speed of hand and speed of foot. I suspect you would not find many boxing observers favoring Amir Khan to last inside of seven rounds yet it appears Amir Khan is being lined up as the next earliest opponent for Mayweather. Thurman has been the interim WBA Champion since July of last year. Thurman is now the mandatory challenger for Mayweather. Don?t hold your breath ladies and gentlemen for a Mayweather vs. Thurman fight anymore than you should have held your breath post-fight showtime analysts breakdown as they mentioned a Maidana rematch, a Khan opponent, but certainly did not mention Thurman as being the natural choice!

What Maidana showed this past weekend, and which Mayweather has certainly tried to avoid in the past, is that a pressure fighter with power gives him all kinds of trouble. Lets not mistake Maidana for what he is and one must fully appreciate his warrior mentality but his three losses and the opponents that rendered those losses upon his record speaks volumes.
Until and unless Mayweather fights and beats Manny Pacquiao he is not in a position to even claim that he is the best of his era. For those who seem to have some confusion in this TBE nonsense I wish them the very best when they go to boxing heaven and have to speak to the incomparable Sugar Ray Robinson who at one point was 128-1-2 with 84 knockouts, Henry Armstrong, 150-21-10 with 101 knockouts and a whole list of other great fighters.
If a pressure fighter the likes of Maidana gives Mayweather trouble heaven forbid what a prime Roberto Duran would have done to Mayweather or a speed and power come and get you Aaron Pryor would have done. Sugar Ray Leonard! Tommy Hearns! Archie Moore! Sorry Floyd but repeating something constantly in this particular case is disrespect to a long list of legends.
Five ? Take A Look At Me Now! Money on Manny Mayweather and his team should take a very very serious look at his performance last weekend. He was forced into a situation where he took a fair bit of punishment. While he may sell you on the basis that he decided to engage in that type of fight an honest perspective would tell you that he had no other alternative when forced by a warrior who was prepared to go, from the initial opening bell, as long and as hard as he physically could.
Mayweather is thirty-seven years old and he certainly looked like he was slowing down this past weekend. He has had a great career, once again showed incredible ring generalship and tremendous conditioning. There is certainly no harm in exiting boxing now as opposed to the harm that may come shortly. The boxing winds of fate blow wildly and based on Mayweather?s performance this past weekend certainly Manny Pacquiao, based on his stellar performance against Bradley, is in the sweepstakes as a viable fighter to not only beat Mayweather but to punish him with speed, power, and a new found concentration on boxing skills.
The next few months should be interesting!
