Maidana, he the loser to Khan and others, is a pre-arranged slow-footed opponent for Floyd Mayweather. These past few weeks there has not been much mention of the undefeated knockout artist Keith Thurman as the most viable opponent and most dangerous opponent for Mayweather. Al Bernstein, the legendary broadcaster, has commented that Thurman is ?perhaps the man who will give Floyd his toughest fight?. Bernstein has further referred to Thurman as the ?Elephant? in the room, for the Welterweight division, save and except one, and that one being Floyd Mayweather.
Aside from K.O. power in either hand, Thurman possesses something that Mayweather?s most recent opponents entirely lack and that is foot speed.
