Bernard Hopkins W SD12 Beibut Shumenov
Future Hall of Famer and IBF 175-pound champion Bernard ?The Alien? Hopkins (55-6-2, 32 KOs) added the WBA super light heavyweight crown to his trophy case with a dominant, surgical (split) decision over now former champion Beibut Shumenov (14-2, 9 KOs) moments ago at the DC Armory in Washington DC as seen live on Showtime. The 49-year old ageless Hopkins dominated despite one asinine card in Shumenov?s favour to capture the impressive win against a man nineteen years his junior.
