LAS VEGAS ? Whoever Manny Pacquiao fights next Bob Arum has assured that it?s going to be a fight worth watching and paying for.
?That?s one thing you will be able to say,? said Arum after the great rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley Saturday night at the MGM.
People came to see the fight, all 15,601 of them, and Arum announced that gate receipts reached close to $8 million with more to come from the pay-per-view sales.
While Pacquiao emerged as the unanimous winner, it proved to be a great fight to watch as Bradley, not known as a puncher, did try to score a knockout.
It appeared a couple of times he had the chance but as the fight wore on Bradley didn?t have enough firepower against Pacquiao.

Either boxer will certainly guarantee a good fight for Pacquiao.
?We all have different views on boxing on what?s competitive and not,? said Arum, who suggested that one way to find out is by looking at the fight odds.
?If it?s close then it?s competitive and if it?s not then it?s not competitive,? added the Top Rank chief who continued to take a swipe at the MGM for putting more premium on Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana.
The fight doesn?t take place until May 3 and yet publicity material on the Mayweather bout is greater than the Pacquiao fight.
?Mayweather?s fight is not bad for boxing but bad for the public spending good money to see nonsense,? said Arum of the fight where the odds are just about 15/1.
Arum gave credit to Bradley for putting up a fight the way he said he would.
?The Bradley who fought Pacquiao the last time was not the Bradley that fought tonight. This Bradley was very, very confident,? said Arum.
Bradley?s market value after this fight, according to Arum, should go up.
?Everybody will watch Tim Bradley?s next fight,? he said.
