Rep. Manny Pacquiao and former US President Bill Clinton had a “missed encounter” on the set of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” early this week and they talked a bit about politics with Clinton seemingly endorsing Pacquiao for president of the Philippines. Pacquiao and Clinton were both guests of Jimmy Kimmel but they did not appear together in the same show because Clinton’s interview was ahead of Pacquiao’s guesting. But Clinton had a brief endorsement on Jimmy Kimmel’s Show about Pacquiao’s reported presidential ambitions. “You’re going to have Manny on here in a few minutes. He’s already in the Philippines parliament and I hope that he goes right on up the ladder,” said Clinton, 67. “I think that he’s a great guy and a great role model for the country and he’s very strong and honest. So he’s thinking about the rest of his life.”
