SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Antonio Spurs express kept rolling Wednesday night at the AT&T Center.
Tony Parker logged 18 points and eight assists while Tim Duncan tallied 15 and eight rebounds. Marco Belinelli and Manu Ginobili combined for 25 off the bench and the Spurs easily defeated the visiting Golden State Warriors, 111-90.
The Spurs increased their season-best win streak to 19, improving their won-lost record to 59-16. They are up four games over the 54-19 Oklahoma City Thunder for the top overall record in the NBA heading into the playoffs, which begins on April 19.
After a breathtaking, last second 122-120 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks yesterday, the Warriors didn't have much against the Spurs. They made only 36 of 85 field goals for 42.4 percent and were out rebounded 45-33.
Stephen Curry, who drilled the game-winner against the Mavs, missed 10 of 15 shots and settled with 11 points. Marreese Speights led with 22 points for the Warriors, who played without Andre Iguodala, Andrew Bogut and David Lee.
The Warriors dropped to 46-29, sixth place in a crowded Western Conference. (JSM)
