World Cup winning striker Ronaldo has challenged the world?s no.1 boxer Floyd Mayweather and MMA legend Anderson Silva to fight him.
Ronaldo, who has battled the bulge for years, has been shedding the pounds by training for combat sports, and has apparently developed a taste for a tear-up!
Ronaldo posted this picture of himself on Instagram:
He commented: Me preparando pra vcs , @spiderandersonsilva @jdscigano @floydmayweather get ready!
?I?m preparing for Anderson Silva, Junior dos Santos and Floyd Mayweather ? get ready!?
The three-time FIFA World Player of the Year who played for PSV, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan is regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all-time. At his peak, his 6? frame carried as much muscle as a cruiserweight boxer, and he was able to plow through the best defenses by virtue of his speed, power and skill.
By his thirties Ronaldo was carrying much more weight on the pitch, and in retirement his weight soared worryingly.
He has recently made strides to get in-shape, and posted this picture of himself on twitter a few weeks ago.
Now the Brazilian legend is apparently fighting fit, and throwing out challenges to fellow Brazilians Silva and dos Santos, two highly respected MMA fighters. He also threw out a challenge to Floyd Mayweather, and with the pound-for-pound champ still undecided whom to fight next, Ronaldo may have stolen a lead on Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana.
