As a matter of fact, ‘Fiddy’ said Garcia was downright boring. “They may not be sure if they want him back on the [HBO] network because he just put us to sleep in here…don’t forget that.” “Mikey is a beautiful woman. She wore the blue trunks for us with the wings.”
“We’re ready to fight. We’re ready to go to L.A,” 50 Cent, who sat at ringside, told BoxingScene.
The iconic musician/promoter has been lobbying for a superbout between Top Rank’s Mikey Garcia and his fighter, Yuriorkis Gamboa, and the fireworks started well before last night’s fight card.
Last month, 50 Cent launched a minor rant on Twitter, suggesting Garcia was scared to fight Gamboa.
Garcia, of course, retaliated, insisting he’d be more than happy to accommodate ‘Fiddy’ and Gamboa.
“I’m willing to go up and meet him at 135 if he doesn’t want to come down. I think it would be a great fight. People would want to see it. Why not? Let’s do it. I think anybody they put in front of me, I’m ready to fight.”
