8CountNews welcomes Roy Jones Jr back to the Podcast show. Roy talked about Jean Pascal’s performance against Lucian Bute. Roy’s been working with Pascal up in Canada, and helped him prepare for the big fight in Montreal. Pascal put forth a very convincing win, and Roy shares his thought about it.
Roy also talks about a potential fight against the UFC’s Anderson Silva. Most know that Silva sustained a severe leg break injury in his fight Vs. Chris Wiedman. Roy tells 8CN that the fight is still in the works and that an additional fight is in the works against the UFC’s Nick Diaz. The fight would be strictly a boxing match.
Roy also answers some questions from the fans. He talks about who influenced him in boxing as a kid. He talks about women in the Olympics, and he comments on women being afforded more opportunities to fight on TV fights. He also talks about his most memorable fights throughout his career.
