Moments ago at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal scored a relatively easy unanimous decision against former super middleweight champion Lucian Bute. Bute never really looked like he was into the fight as Pascal continuously beat him to the punch and outhustled him with flurries. It wasn’t until the final round when Bute finally showed life, unleashing a series of punches that appeared to be taking their toll on a seemingly tired Pascal. Ultimately, it was too little too late for Bute as all three judges scored the bout 116-112, 117-110, and 117-111 in favor of Pascal. Relive all the action in FightHype’s round-by-round results.
