DETROIT – (KRT) – Some call him the “Pac Man,” while others refer to him as “The Destroyer.” Nicknames aside, Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines is perhaps the most exciting fighter pound-for-pound in the world.
On Saturday, Pacquiao (38-2-1, 30 KOs) will challenge Juan Manuel (Dinamita) Marquez (42-2, 33 KOs) of Mexico for the WBA and IBF world featherweight championship belts. The 12-round bout will be held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas and will be televised on HBO as part of its World Championship Boxing series.
